The title of the project is Web Based Account Management System. It is initiated to manage the Account system online.

At the time of Synopsis approval the title was TREASURE MANAGEMENT and is modified after suggestion from synopsis approval committee of university. So, after updation the title isWeb Based Account Management System. This title is more effective to describe our developed system.

This Web Based software is more effective to manage the accounts and information of the company. Using this software, user can able to do many activities such as:

· Appoint & manage new employee

· Modification and deletion of employee information

· Manage asset list and asset information

· Generate Reports

So, using this software many more other activities can be easily done, which required managing the office & accounts effectively.

Introduction:

In this project attempts have been made to formulate a mechanized Web Based Account Management System for a small-scale industry named ABC LTD, i.e. Using this software, user can easily operate to appoint new employee, modification and deletion of employee information, asset list, and asset information. It has facilities to generate various types of reports, which are required by the management during normal business operations to operate the business effectively.

Objective:

This project is based on RDBMS technology, the main objective of this project is to computerize the department transaction & reduce the time consumption. It decreases the work load of staff and providing better facilities to customers. It is built to cover all the main area of data processing and data transaction. The proposed system shall deal with the employee report, employee’s salary report etc of the business management.

In other words we can say that our project has the following objectives:

Ø Make all the system computerize

Ø Reduce time consumption

Ø Reduce error scope

Ø All system management are automated

Ø Less paper work requirement
