Explain with the help of an example/illustration the problem with Distance vector routing algorithm. Explain in detail how does link state routing algorithm resolve the shortcoming of the above algorithm.

Television channels are 8 MHZ wide. How many bits/sec can be sent if 8 level digital signals are used? Assume that this channel is noiseless.






(c)
Describe and explain the throughput expression of Aloha and Pure Aloha. Consider the delay of Pure Aloha vs Slotted Aloha. Where will be less delay ? Justify.







(d)
