The Project "Billing & Inventory Management System is an application to automate the process of ordering, billing and inventory management. This system worked for a departmental store and can be implemented with any business houses. This web based application is designed considering the proper management of billing with customer satisfaction. The main benefit to introducing this project is that, it manage inventory properly. As result we are able to provide best support to our customers. This application may also administrate its users and customers.

Title of Project
“Billing & Inventory Management System” introduce as a title of my project. First of all I want to elaborate this project title, Online means web based project which involve in Billing and inventory management. That means, with the help of this we are able to manage our billing system as well as our inventory management at the same time. This project provides an interface where stock verification, customer registration, customer feedback and other similar task can be done easily.

Objective
The main objective of development of this system is mention in below:
1.   Add and maintain records of available products.
2.   Add and maintain customer details.
3.   Add and maintain description of new products.
4.   Add and maintain new entered category of products.
5.   Provides economic/financial reports to the owner monthly or weekly and yearly.
6.   Provides a convenient solution of billing pattern.
7.   Make an easy to use environment for users and customers.

Project Category
“Billing & Inventory Management System” is an OOPS and RDBMS based Project. To design and develop this project we use ASP.NET with C# and SQL SERVER 2005.
OOPS: Object oriented programming is a type of programming paradigm based around programming classes and instances of classes called objects. These can be objects that appear on the screen (e.g., pictures, textboxes, etc.) or are part of the programming (e.g. actors, connections, particles, etc.).

RDBMS: The project is based on the concept of RDBMS (i.e. Relational Database
Management System) “A database which store data in the form of tables which has related with each other in as particular manner.
